Time for a sincerely Random List. Ready? Go!!!

I would just like to say that today I was searching for my glue stick (the type that is huge, purple and smells like peanut butter) so I could glue some things into a notebook. And, I am the first to admit it, I am a slob. OKok not an actual SLOB, I am not dirty, I am just a hoarder and even though I am EXTREMELY micro-organised, macro-organisation is truly my weak point.

So a search of a two x two foot area of my room turned up:

-Two weeks' worth of toiletries from various Westin hotels. Two weeks' worth being the number of times the room was cleaned, not how long it would last.
-A black Sharpie
-A turquoise Sharpie
-A pen from the Stratosphere in Vegas
-A post-it pad with Grumpy Bear on it. Unopened.
-Two green marbled tiny post-it pads from back when I worked in an office, plifered accidentally when I walked out doodling or with work in my arms.
-A one-week pill organizer, probably never used.
-A SuperGirl pocket mirror from Six Flags, I can't remember the last time I went to Six Flags.
-The stage script for Are You Being Served?
-Ticket stubs from the Musee D'Orsay, the Empire State Building and The Wedding Singer Musical.
-ONE boob-pad from a bathingsuit.
-One lone sock that I have now dropped into the wash pile.
-A mechanical pencil.
-A package of Pez packs. To which I said "I have been looking for those." Popped the package open, grabbed a pack and filled my Hello Kitty Pez dispenser and bought it to my computer desk.
-My "Wash Away Your Sins" red-wine flavoured chap stick by Blue Q. Unopened because I am still working on my current tube of the same chapstick. Cause they don't make it any more. (All of this was, strangely, located under my "Looking Good For Jesus" Blue Q shopping bag.)
-Half my collection of Sponge Rollers (which I moved to their container in my bathroom thank you very much).
-Three CD clam cases.
-Five French-language children's books.

And most importantly...

NO GLUE STICK!!!

I seriously need hoarding help. I am not as bad as my mother, and I don't keep things because I think I "need" them. I don't even keep too many things. I just keep more things than my 14x14ft bedroom can hold. If I put everything I own into even a one-bedroom apartment, I would have nothing at all.

I just need to learn to move my micro-organisation into some large-scale arenas.

Where, oh where, is my glue stick? I guess I will buy a new one tomorrow. : )

Have a happy day!!
